The hysteria on here of people calling other West Ham supporters hysterical, knicker wetting, cry babies, embarrasing, spineless and other derogatory remarks is outstanding.
If your a supporter you want to win every game, I don't care what competition it is. People are dissappointed with last night outcome and rightly so!

I agree with Bilic that the Pl is the priority but also believe that it isn't that ridiculous to play a strong side in both games. How bothered are we about going through is the question. This comp has already cost us Valencia.

Of course the league takes priority over Europe but whether the Arsenal match should take priority over the 2nd leg is a different matter and will be interesting to see how Bilic handles it.
Who cares about the money aspect of it, apart from the chairmen etc. It's about playing teams we've never played before and hopefully some great matches.

Whats the point of building a squad capable of Europa and playing all the other matches if you are going to throw it away in the second leg.
Thursday night should be full strength minus Payet and Cresswell. Everyone else available should play, i would say securing European football for the last season at Upton Park takes priority over a game that when the fixtures come out you don't expect anything.
